Breastfeeding Resources for CPSP Providers

Breastfeeding Task Force of Greater Los Angeles: Dedicated to improving the health and well being of infants and families through education, outreach, and advocacy to promote and support breastfeeding. Education resources available for professionals and patients.

Women, Infants & Children (WIC): Promotes, supports and protects exclusive breastfeeding. WIC clinics are breastfeeding friendly and staffed with trained breastfeeding counselors.

Women's Health Breastfeeding Information and Resources: Information and education for patients, also available in Spanish.

Syphilis in Women and Congenital Syphilis

Pertussis (Whooping Cough)

Pertussis is on the rise. We strongly recommend that CPSP providers offer/refer pregnant patients for Tdap during 3rd trimester to protect newborns from pertussis. Visit CPSP website or to learn more about what your office can do to prevent pertussis.
