About LAMB
LAMB (Los Angeles Mommy and Baby) Survey is a special community outreach project sponsored by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. The LAMB survey asks mothers who recently delivered a baby about events that happened before, during, and after their pregnancy.

Goal

To improve maternal health during pregnancy and to prevent babies from being born too early or too small

Objectives

· To better understand the causes of poor birth outcomes in Los Angeles County

· To identify areas where help and resources are needed the most.

· To improve the health services of future mothers and babies in Los Angeles County.
