The Division of Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health (MCAH) supports and advocates for the wellbeing of infants, mothers, fathers, children, and adolescents, and their families in Los Angeles County.

Prenatal and Postpartum Health

Supporting the health and well-being of birthing people, infants, and families is essential for strong, thriving communities. Our comprehensive prenatal and postpartum programs are designed to provide guidance, care, and resources throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the early stages of parenting.

African American Infant and Maternal Mortality Prevention Initiative (AAIMM)
