What's New in CPSP

CPSP Provider Trainings

LA County is now offering trainings!

Once a quarter, we will be having a CPSP Overview training from 8:00am to 4:00pm at the California Endowment in Downtown Los Angeles (conveniently located one block from Union Station via the Red or Gold Line).

The training will include an overview of the CPSP program including LA County's new forms and current resources for new staff or staff that have not been to training and need a refresher.

The training and parking are free!

Registration information for ALL trainings offered will be distributed per our CPSP provider email list.

Zika Virus Update

Zika is a mosquito-borne virus. In Mexico and Central America, the site of a large ongoing Zika outbreak, there has been a substantial increase in the number of babies born with microcephaly (small head circumference). Please click here for important information for obstetric providers and pregnant women. For a CPSP provider in-service training on Zika, please contact our office at (213) 639-6419.

Pertussis (Whooping Cough)

Pertussis is on the rise. We strongly recommend that CPSP providers offer/refer pregnant patients for Tdap during 3rd trimester to protect newborns from pertussis. Visit CPSP website or to learn more about what your office can do to prevent pertussis.
