  • U.S Department of Education and Federal Student Aid

    Federal Student Aid for College or Career School - The U.S. Department of Education provides grants, loans, and work-study opportunities to eligible students attending participating colleges or career schools. The Department is the source of nearly 70 percent of all student aid awarded in the U.S. each year. The vast majority of the Department's aid is not based on academic merit.   • Health Professionals Education Foundation

    The Foundation administers a number of scholarship and loan repayment programs for health professional students and graduates. All program recipients are required to provide direct patient care in a medically underserved area (MUA) of California as designated by the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD). The period of obligated professional service is one to three years (depending upon program).
