How to Apply
To apply for a current job vacancy, you must be a permanent Los Angeles County employee who holds the payroll item listed on the vacancy announcement (for lateral transfer) or be reachable on a certification list. To get on a certification list, submit an online application for one of the open nursing examinations within DPH listed below or explore open nursing examinations in other Los Angeles County departments. The names of candidates receiving a passing grade on the examination will be added to a certification list and will appear in the order of their score group, from Band I to Band V, for a period of twelve (12) months following the date of eligibility.
