Specified Low Income Medicare Beneficiary	1-877-597-4777 www.co.la.ca.us/dpss If you are low-income, the Medi-Cal Program may be able to pay your Social Security Medicare premium/co-payments.
In-Home Supportative Services (IHSS)	1-888-944-IHSS www.co.la.ca.us/dpss This program can help you pay for in-home services such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, shopping and personal care. These services enable eligible persons to remain safely at home and prevent out of home placement. IHSS recipients will automatically receive Medi-Cal. If your child is blind or disabled, he or she may also qualify for SSI.
Genetically Handicapped Person Program	1-800-639-0597 If you have a genetically inherited disease this program can help you pay your medical bills. Examples of such diseases include: sickel cell, cystic fibrosis, hemophilia.
