Ann Baldi, S.P.H.I.
Supervising Public Health Investigator

Ms. Baldi has been in Public Health Investigations since 1980 and has been a supervisor since 1999. Throughout her PHI career, she has investigated routine TB, STD, dog bite reports (rabies control), and other communicable diseases such as typhoid, salmonella, shigella and amebiasis.

Her experience includes participation in special projects such as the Metro Service Planning Area SPA 4 Area Health Office project where female PHIs interviewed, measured body fat and collected breast milk from WIC volunteers in an effort to determine if people who ate the local fish from Los Angeles and Santa Monica areas had excessive amounts of DDT and PCBs in their body fat.

Ms. Baldi completed her double bachelor's degree in French and Spanish from the California State University, Los Angeles.  She was also invited to publish an article on her experiences in nature photography.
