Helmet Use

Go to fullsize image

Professional snowboarders and snow skiers know best-so ride like them, and wear a helmet! It protects your head, while you look like a pro!

Wearing a helmet every time while skiing or snowboarding can reduce your risk of serious head injury by 56%—that is, for every 10 people who wear helmets, six will avoid head injuries (Hagel, B., 2005).

Whether a child or adult, wearing a helmet will keep you riding like a pro! Helmets can be purchased at shops where skis and snowboards are sold. Read the following links for more information on helmets.
