ONSITE WASTEWATER
TREATMENT SYSTEM
The
Los Angeles County Code defines parameters for the
effective percolation of wastewater effluent through the
soil. Properties that conform to the established
parameters may be approved for installation of a Onsite
Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS). The Land Use
Program staff review submitted work plans, review
historical records, perform site inspection, and
coordinate with other County and/or City Departments.
