Dengue Fever (Also called, "Break-Bone Fever")

Dengue fever is caused by a virus transmitted through the bite of one of two types of mosquito, called Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. There are four different types of dengue viruses. Infection with one virus type will lead to lasting immunity to that type only.
